Document Description
The Poplar Community Services District (PCSD) is applying for a park grant through the Statewide Park Development and Community Revitalization Program for Poplar Community Park. PCSD owns and operates the Poplar Community Park. If funded, the project involves construction of new outdoor fitness equipment station, renovation of the restroom and concession stand building, revitalization of picnic areas and sports fields, and surfacing of the parking lot. The purpose of the park addition is to provide attractive and useful recreational areas thereby engaging the Poplar Community and County residents in general. All of Tulare County and the Poplar Community will benefit from these additions.
