Document Description
PROJECT NUMBER: 8598-210
The State Water Resources Control Board (State Water Board) is a Responsible Agency for the Project referred to internally as Enhanced Treatment and Site Upgrade Phase 1B Project. The State Water Board intends to fund improvements, including new secondary clarifiers and effluent facilities, and secondary treatment process improvements at the WWTP intended to address potential future numerical effluent nutrient limits and provide capacity for projected flows and loadings for 2040. Since the IS/MND was adopted the project site has expanded to include an adjacent triangular parcel which will be used to reroute an existing effluent pipeline to connect a new force main to the existing pipeline. Changes also include the use of micropiles for structural support in lieu of conventional impact-driven piles, and the construction of an odor dispersion wall.
