Document Description
Approval of Permit No. 13656-1, under California Code of Regulations, Title 23, Article 3, Section 6, for work within an adopted plan of flood control: To remove and replace three sections of 42-inch diameter welded steel pipe, each of approximate length of 78-feet (cumulative length of approximately 235 feet) and approximately 105-feet of 18-inch diameter welded steel pipe. Additional improvements include the installation of a positive closure device at the landside hinge of the levee, removal and replacement of the following features: an existing level sensor conduit, approximately 260 feet of the existing floodwall, an existing fence at the pump station near the landside toe, an existing waterside outfall structure along with rock slope protection, and approximately 1,600 square feet of the concrete apron on landside levee slope. The project will also require the removal of two trees along with minor trimming of riparian vegetation near the outfall structure. A temporary cofferdam will be used for the construction.
