The Project will replace the current water distribution system and complete the previously drilled Well 8, which includes the following: • Installation of 13,620 feet of water pipeline along surface streets • Install 3 new fire hydrants • Install a backflow prevention device at Lewiston Elementary School • Reconnect 105 service connections • Relocate 17 service connections • Reconnect 9 fire hydrants • Furnishing Well 8: • Furnish and install a submersible pump • Construction of building to house the well • Add SCADA control • Build a concrete masonry unit block and appurtenances • Connect the well to the distribution system by installing subsurface piping • Decommission and properly destroy the Community Park Well
