This project is exempt under Guideline 15301, since it involves negligible or no expansion of the facilities, and can be categorized under example (b), since it entails repair and minor alteration of an existing public facility. This project is also exempt under Guideline 15302, for the following reasons: 1) This project involves the replacement of existing structures (e.g. tank); 2) The replacement structures will be located at the same site as the existing structures; and 3) The replacement structures will have substantially the same purpose as the existing structures.
