Reasons for Exemption
The project proposes to rebuild an existing 5’x 132’ pier located on a stone and concrete breakwater. Existing structures that will remain include a 10’x 20’ swim dock, 3’x 24’ gangway and a 6’x 11’ deck. The project includes driving 8 metal pilings to rebuild the pier.
All work in the lake will occur between October 15 and December 31. The project will further require a lakebed encroachment permit from Lake County Water Resources Department and a building permit from the Building Department. A vicinity map is attached.
