- The California Department of Toxic Substances Control (D T S C), pursuant to authority granted under California Code of Regulations, Title 22, Division 4.5, Chapter 20, Section 66270.61, has issued an Emergency Permit to University of California-Davis (E P A I D# CAD047120084) to treat hazardous waste through a controlled reaction with a chemical solution. The hazardous waste to be treated consists of two 1x100 mL, 1x5 mL containers of Acrylic Acid, one 500mL container of Methacrylic Acid, one 50g container of Potassium, one 5g container of 2,4 Dinitrophenylhydrazine, four 1x20g, 2x20mL, 1x1L containers of Picric Acid, two 2x5mL containers of Diethyl Azodicarboxylate, and one 50g container of Benzoyl Peroxide.
