All activities will be limited to dry river conditions. Test pits will be outside of the active river channel and riverbed. Each trench will have dimensions of 8ftx6ftX18in. A total 15 cubic yards of soil and gravel will be excavated between the two trenches over an impacted area of 700 square feet (includes trenching and temporary side-cast). Geotechnical pits will be dug and then backfilled with original material the day of excavation.
