The proposed Housing Element 2021-2029 addresses the City of Vista’s community profile, existing and projected housing needs, constraints to the preservation and development of housing, opportunities and resources for housing, and an eight-year housing plan that addresses the expansion of housing opportunities in the community. The document includes an evaluation of the current programs and policies relied upon for the provision of affordable housing and quantified objectives for the 6th cycle Housing Element (June 30, 2020 to April 15, 2029).
