Document Description
Under the proposed project, up to 10,000 acre-feet of Tulare Lake Basin Water Storage District’s (TLBWSD) approved 2021 State Water Project (SWP) Table A water (TLBWSD’s 2021 Table A Water) will be transferred to Kern County Water Agency (KCWA) by December 31, 2021. The request was made on behalf of landowner JG Boswell Company, which farms in both TLBWSD and KCWA service areas. JG Boswell Company will use the transferred water to better manage its water supplies.

The water will be delivered to lands that have been in agricultural production for many years. There will be no change in land use.
