Document Description
The proposed project would allow Mojave Water Agency (Mojave) to transfer a portion of its State Water Project (SWP) Table A water based on the SWP allocation in excess of its in-district demands to Belridge Water Storage District, Berrenda Mesa Water District, Lost Hills Water District, Wheeler Ridge-Maricopa Water Storage District and Dudley Ridge Water District (Westside Districts). In years with an allocation of 35 percent or greater, Mojave will transfer a minimum of 15,000 acre-feet of its SWP Table A water to the Westside Districts, annually for a 14 year period. The program will allow Mojave to recapture a portion of its fixed costs.
