Document Description
Union Pacific Railroad (UPRR) proposes to replace the existing four-span, 61-foot long, timber stringer trestle ballast deck bridge with a three-span, 90-foot long, prestressed concrete box girder bridge. The purpose of the proposed project is to continue and improve passenger and freight rail service in the region by replacing the existing structure that has been damaged by fire and outlived its useful life. The existing bridge has been damaged by fire and the conditions are rapidly deteriorating, making replacement critical.
