Document Description
The project consists of the replacement of the existing approximately 30-foot long Airport Bike Path bridge over the Pleasant Valley Ditch with a new 31-foot long by 14-foot wide, clear-span bicycle/pedestrian bridge. The bridge was recently destroyed by a fire leaving the well-traveled bike path impassable to pedestrians and bicyclists. Work to be completed will consist of removal of the destroyed bridge, installation of the new bridge infrastructure, minor excavation, engineered soil backfill and rock slope protection placement, and minor grading.
