In accordance with the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) it has been determined that conducting geotechnical testing is consistent with basic data collection, research, experimental management, and resource evaluation activities which do not result in a serious or major disturbance to an environmental resource and thus is exempt pursuant to Class 6 Categorical Exemption as described in Section 15306 of the CEQA Guidelines.
