Document Description
The California Department of Fish and Wildlife has issued Streambed Alteration Agreement EPIMS Notification Number CAL-10651-R2, pursuant to Section 1602 of the Fish and Game Code to the project Applicant, Jeffrey Bonifield II. The project is limited to the improvement of an existing stream crossing with the installation of a properly sized culvert, additional rock armoring, and restoration of the unnamed tributary of Esparanza Creek from a wildlife altered drainage in a roadside ditch to its original channel.

Reasons for Exemption
project involves the reconstruction of an existing stream crossing along with the replacement of a damaged culvert, with minor alterations to land that does not involve removal of healthy, mature, or scenic trees. Additionally, the project will allow for the restoration of the unnamed tributary to Esparanza Creek in the immediate area of the stream crossing to its original, pre-wildfire course and consist of enhanced habitat with the planting of native riparian vegetation.
