Document Description
The California Department of Fish and Wildlife (CDFW) has executed Lake and Streambed Alteration Agreement number EPIMS-SCR-21205-R3, pursuant to section 1602 of the Fish and Game Code to the project Applicant, Santa Cruz County Department of Public Works.
The Project consists of the replacement of approximately 2,900-linear feet an existing 10-inch asbestos cement gravity sanitary sewer trunk line with new 10-inch and 14-inch HDPE pipelines. Of the 2,900 linear feet and 13 segments, approximately 1,130 feet and 11 segments will be within the Arana Gulch Creek floodplain. The Project will replace portions of the existing sewer main in-place and realign other portions of the sewer main with elimination of some manholes. The replacement pipeline will be installed using trenchless methods and conventional trenching methods where trenchless methods cannot be used.
