Document Description
Heber Field Company ORMAT propose a Repower Project which will take existing dual-flash steam turbine generator out of service and install two new OEC geothermal power generation unite at the Heber 1 CUP19-0028. In addition, OEC-11 and OEC-13 will be reconfigured into a combined two-level unit, OEC-11 ITLU. The steam turbine generator has become less effective as the temperature of the geothermal resource has decrease over time. The new and updated units operate by a different process and will perform better than the steam turbine generator at the current lower temperature of the geothermal fluid, improving efficiency of the operations.
