The Humboldt County Board of Supervisors acting in its role as the Airport land Use Commission, has prepared an airport land use compatibility plan (ALUCP) for Humboldt County. The ALUCP was prepared in compliance with the State
Aeronautics Act (Pub. Util. Code§ 21670 et seq.) is a planning document intended to promote compatibility between Humboldt County's public-use airports and the surrounding environment. This is accomplished through regulation of future development of residential and non-residential land uses within the County's Airport Influence Areas (AIAs).
