- The project improves approximately 1,000 square feet of space on the 6th Floor of the Main Hospital Davis Tower building located on the Sacramento campus. The remodel is required to meet regulatory requirements for United States Pharmacopeia (USP) 797 and the Board of Pharmacy. Improvements will also allow for decompression of the central pharmacy to improve services and patient care. The project scope includes demolition of the existing pharmacy space, upgrades to mechanical, plumbing, electrical and data communications, and ADA upgrades to supporting spaces.

- This project will renovate existing interior space only with no expansion of existing use. This project qualifies as categorically exempt under Exemption Class 1 of the Guidelines for the Implementation to the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA). This exemption applies to the operation, repair, maintenance or minor alteration of existing public or private structures, facilities or mechanical equipment, involving negligible or no expansion of the existing use. In addition, none of the exceptions for application of a categorical exemption apply to this project.
