On January 13, 2021, the Board of Directors of the Casitas Municipal Water District approved a term sheet offered by the United Water Conservation District allowing the transfer of up to 3,100 Acre Feet of Casitas Municipal Water District's 2020 Table A Article 56 State Water Project water supply. The purpose of the project is to augment the Untied Water Conservation District's water supplies. The beneficiaries of the project are the Casitas Municipal Water District and the United Water Conservation District.
