Document Description
The existing pavement is subject to considerable amount of distress and cracking due to heavy truck traffic. Therefore, work is needed to restore the pavement and improve safety to the traveling public. This project proposes to cold pane between .25 to .50 foot of existing asphalt concrete pavement and replace between .25 to .50 foot of hot-mix asphalt (Type A). The scope of work is from edge of traveled way (ETW) to ETW on the asphalt concrete roadway. All work will be performed within Caltrans right of way.
