Document Description
A categorical exclusion/exemption has been prepared for this project that proposes to install safety lightings at the junction of SR 1 and SR 84 in San Mateo County. This project is needed to enhance nighttime safety at this junction. Per their investigation, Electrical Design found that the existing lighting does not belong to Caltrans and is not up to current standards.
The project is within Caltrans right-of way. This project contains a number of standardized avoidance and minimization measures which are employed on most, if not all, Caltrans projects and were not developed in response to any specific environmental impact resulting from the proposed project.
