- The applicant proposes to install a new ground-mounted 85-foot high stealth wireless communications facility designed as a faux pine tree for AT&T. The applicant would install the stealth facility within the golf course maintenance yard area. The project includes the removal of an approximate 800 sq. ft. abandoned modular office building to allow for the new Monopine and an 8’-high block wall equipment enclosure. The unmanned facility would operate 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Routine maintenance would occur one to three times per month depending on weather or technical issues.

- The effects of the project are typical of those generated within the Class 11 (Accessory Structures) categorical exemptions. Class 11 consists of construction, or placement of minor accessory structures. The proposed project is a request to erect an 85-foot high ground-mounted stealth monopole wireless communications facility designed as a faux pine tree. As such, the proposed project meets the criteria for these categorical exemptions. Pursuant to Section 15300.02 (c) and 15301 of Title 14 of the California Code of Regulations, there are no unusual circumstances in respect to the proposed project for which staff would anticipate a significant effect on the environment and, therefore, the proposed project is categorically exempt from the provisions of CEQA.
