*PROJECT WITHDRAWN PER LEAD* The Midpeninsula Regional Open Space District issues this Notice of Preparation to announce preparation of an Environmental Impact Report for the Beatty House Removal and Site Restoration Project. The Project would entail removal of the Beatty House and implementation of habitat enhancements to reflect ecological conditions prior to construction of the building. Mitigation measures will likely be required to compensate for removal of this potentially historic structure due to its eligibility for the California Register of Historic Resources. No public access facilities would be constructed as part of this Project.
