Document Description
Stanislaus County proposes to replace the existing Tim Bell Road Bridge with a new, approximately 960-foot bridge that spans over the 100-year floodplain. The new bridge will be shifted downstream of the existing bridge. The new alignment improves sight distance, removes the existing S-curve, and provides for a 45 miles per hour design speed. Public Works will use Highway Bridge Program (HBP) funds to replace the existing structure to improve roadway safety and comply with the American Association of State Highway and Transportation Officials (AASHTO) design guidelines and County standards.
