- Repair two backcountry bridges ('75Lx6'W and 45'Lx6'W) that allow for crossing of the East Fork of the New River, which otherwise would be impassable by foot or stock. Will remove damaged running decking, sub decking, and hand rail on both bridges and replace and/or repair the damaged lumber and hardware. Project will restore safe access to 30 miles of backcountry trails for both the public and USFS personnel to carry out their critical public land management duties.
