Document Description
The State Water Resources Control Board (State Water Board) is a Responsible Agency for the Project. The State Water Board’s Clean Water State Revolving Fund (SRF) Program is financing the Project. The Project includes abandoning the septic tanks and leach fields in Fairmead and directing wastewater flows through a new sewer trunk line to the City of Chowchilla’s Wastewater Treatment Facility (City WWTF). Approximately 175 residential connections, the Fairmead Elementary School, and a commercial property will be connected to the City WWTF. The Project includes construction of a collection system, pump station, force main and gravity main (including 2.65 miles of gravity sewer main and 2.44 miles of force sewer main) with wastewater treatment and disposal at the existing City WWTF.
