Document Description
The project is limited to the diversion of water from Willow Creek, and the subsequent operation and maintenance of those diversions. The activities include the creation of temporary gravel dam with on site material to assist in the diversion of water at each site. Heavy equipment may be used to create the gravel dam and will be removed at end of irrigation season. The Permittee has water rights pursuant to Decree #7035 of the Superior Court of the State of California in and for the Count of Siskiyou judgement for Shasta River, including the tributary of Willow Creek, Table 9, and Map 49 and 54. The Permittee has a combined total diversion rate of 12.84005 cfs from March 1 – November 1. Permittee has the right to move water rights at other locations and/or change the configuration of the diversion, and install protective fish screens on the diversion. CDFW will review and provide any protective measures for the establishment of the diversion and fish screen facilities.
