Document Description
Notice of Exemption pursuant to CEQA Section 15301, Class 1 (Existing Facilities) and Section 15311, Class 11 (Accessory Structures). This pilot project allows LADWP to evaluate the compatibility of this long duration energy storage technology with the electricity grid. The project would provide up to 50 MW of energy storage with a discharge of up to 10 hours. Project would be located on an LADWP-owned property, adjacent to existing electric infrastructure.
