Document Description
The proposed work includes applying an asphalt rubber chip seal. Oil binder and aggregate (“chips”) will be placed one foot past the edge of traveled way, followed by a fog seal from edge of pavement to edge of pavement. Excess aggregate from the chip seal will be picked up and properly disposed. Work off the existing pavement will be limited to placing construction area signs and implementation of stormwater BMP’s. No shoulder backing will be placed.

After a review of the project it has been determined that no known environmental resources will be impacted by this project. No vegetation or dirt will be disturbed outside the existing pavement, shoulder backing, contractor use areas. All work will be performed with Caltrans Right of Way.
