Document Description
The scope of work for this project is to install a ramp metering system for the High Occupancy Vehicle (HOV) lane at the northbound slip on-ramp at Florin Avenue, the northbound loop on-ramp at 47th Avenue, and the northbound slip on-ramp at 47th Avenue. Additionally, Maintenance Vehicle Pullouts (MVP) are too small and need to be enlarged at the 2nd and 3rd location, and a new MVP needs to be added to the 1st location. The purpose of this project is to increase safety and improve operations by enabling safe merging of traffic from the on-ramps and thereby reducing delays resulting from merge-related collisions.
