Document Description
The project is the construction of a new cell tower in the southwestern portion of the campus, on the western perimeter of a surface parking lot adjacent to the existing Music and Arts buildings. The project qualifies for a Class 3 categorical exemption as it involves the installation of new equipment and associated accessory infrastructure in an already developed area. The project does not trigger Section 15300.2 Exceptions to the use of this categorical exemption; it is not located in a sensitive environment; would not contribute to a cumulatively significant impact; would not result in a significant effect due to unusual circumstances; would not affect scenic resources within a scenic highway; is not located on a listed hazardous materials site; and would not affect historic resources.
