Document Description
In January 2020, MBK Engineers (MBK), on behalf of the District, identified seven erosion sites along Sutter Slough based on observations from site reconnaissance, geometric analysis from a land survey of the levee, and a bank and bathymetric survey of the channel. MBK prioritized repairs based on a qualitative assessment of slope verticality, channel depth at waterside toe, levee geometry, channel meander, vegetated cover, and constructability. The project would address bank loss, toe scour, and erosion by flattening the waterside levee slope and placing approximately 18- to 24-inch riprap to reestablish the bank slope and channel
