California State Parks staff will remove the invasive tamarisk (Tamarix ramosissima), which have sprouted up in areas of prior restoration projects at Picacho SRA. Less than 100 tamarisk of various ages will be mechanically removed and treated with herbicide. Measures to be implemented to avoid impact may be obtained by submitting a request to the project Environmental Coordinator listed below.
