- Notice of Exemption for Wireless facility co-locations and one new site. Project Description: Cal.net, Inc., a wireless internet service provider with bases of operations in Sonora and Shingle Springs, California, proposes to construct and provision a last-mile fixed wireless broadband Internet and VoIP telephony service project in rural underserved portions of Tuolumne and Mariposa Counties. The Tuolumne Mariposa Project (Project) will be partially funded by the California Public Utility Commission’s California Advanced Services Fund (CASF) Wireless Broadband Grant. The Project will collocate antennas on five existing towers and install one new communication tower facilities at different locations in Mariposa County under individual Building Permits. The wireless installations are described in the NOE Attachments in detail. SEE NOE FOR TABLE AND ADDITIONAL DETIALS FOR EACH SITE. below. Reports documenting biological and cultural resources at the Project sites are on file at the Mariposa County Planning Department.
