Document Description
The proposed project involves the adoption of the One San Pedro Specific Plan to guide redevelopment of the 20-acre, 478-unit Rancho San Pedro public housing complex, which would include phased demolition of existing structures and construction of up to 1,553 residential units, 85,000 square feet of Neighborhood Serving Uses, and 45,000 square feet of commercial retail uses. The One San Pedro Specific Plan would regulate the project’s allowable land use, circulation, open space, and development standards on Rancho San Pedro. The project also involves the construction of 47 residential units on the 0.6-acre vacant lot at 314-327 N. Harbor Blvd, which would help with the relocation of existing residents as Rancho San Pedro is redeveloped. Redevelopment of Rancho San Pedro would positively transform the community for current and future residents while reducing potential displacement of existing residents by expanding housing opportunities.
