- Document Description
- Replace original vitrified clay and tar-coated steel pipe plus appurtenances delivering raw sewerage to three (3) biological treatment ponds. Install approximately 1,800 feet of 6" perforated drain pipe along top of underlain bedrock profile traversing the northerly pond perimeter for wastewater pond site. Raise berm height on Ponds 1, 2 & 3 in elevation by one (1) foot solely for freeboard purposes and compliance with Regional Water Quality Control Board regulations. Dredge thule clusters in Ponds 1 through 4 per conditions stated in the District's Waste Discharge Requirements.

- Pursuant to the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA), Section 15061(b)(3), it can be seen with certainty that the proposed sewer force main improvements would result in a significant effect on the environment. The proposed improvements would be considered Categorically Exempt from CEQA pursuant to Title 14 CCR Section 15301 Class 1 - Existing Facilities, which provides for the operation, repair, maintenance, or minor alterations to existing structures, facilities, including interior or exterior alterations involving negligible or no expansion or use, and allows for the restoration or rehabilitation of structures to meet current standards for public health and safety.
