Notice of Exemption pursuant to CEQA Guidelines, Public Resources Code Section 21080.35. The Main Street River Lot Solar project is a series of solar photovoltaic carport systems (PV). The carport is located in the lot within Main Street Facility Site. The entrance to the facility is located at 1630 North Main Street. The site is located near the Interstate 5 Freeway.
The scope of the proposed project is to install solar photovoltaic (PV) power system in the existing parking lot in the Main Street River Lot. The proposed solar installation is a series of carports. Columns of the proposed carport will be spaced at 27 foot intervals. This will include single cantilever solar carports with a minimum clearance height of 8 feet, 6 inches, unless specified to the clearance height of 15 feet. Footings of the carport system are 2 foot, 6 inch in diameter. This system is estimated to generate approximately 600kW in capacity. The project is estimated to generate approximately 942MWh of clean, renewable energy annually.
