Document Description
The purpose of this project is to build a solar panel system to provide electricity to an existing visitor services kiosk. The visitor service kiosk is located at the south entrance of Hungry Valley SVRA on Hungry Valley Road. The proposed solar panels will be installed in an existing fenced area to the northwest of the kiosk. This area has been previously disturbed by grazing and open-riding of off-highway vehicles and rehabilitated to native vegetation. The solar panel system installation will consist of a 2.8kw Ground Mount Photovoltaic System and 245Ah Battery Backup. The required excavation will include eight holes for ground mount brackets and a trench to house the electrical wires in PVC conduit.
