Reasons for Exemption
Project is construction of 2 small wells within an existing wellfield facility. In accordance with the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) it has been determined that installation of additional groundwater monitoring wells is consistent with the construction and location of limited new, small facilities and structures; installation of small new equipment and facilities in small structures, and thus is exempt pursuant to Class 3 Categorical Exemption as described in Section 15302 of the CEQA Guidelines.
