Planting 400 trees (from a tree palette formally adopted by the City of Long Beach on 3/2/17) at various parks throughout Long Beach (in a project the City’s Parks, Recreation and Marine department has classified as park maintenance). Parks include MacArthur, NAACP, Seaside, Houghton, Coolidge, Ramona, DeForest Park, DeForest Wetlands, Veterans, Fellowship Park, Martin Luther King, McBride, Drake Chavez, Chavez, and Silverado. Full list of approved tree species available upon request.
