Document Description
The Project includes replacement of a bridge over Alamitos Creek. The new bridge will be 174 feet in length and 40 feet in width, with 2 bents. The bridge deck will be approximately 40 feet above the creek bed. Bents will be located outside of the low-flow channel. The two abutments will be located within the upper creek banks.
The Project also includes work on an unnamed ephemeral tributary to Alamitos Creek. There will be removal of a 30-feet long and 24-inch wide diameter culvert. The channel will be graded to a width of 8 feet, lined with rip rap, and the rip rap will be backfilled with native soil.
