Document Description
The California Department of Fish and Wildlife has executed Lake and Streambed Alteration Agreement number 1600-2020-0137-R6, pursuant to Section 1602 of the Fish and Game Code to the California Department of Fish and Wildlife’s Lands Program. This project is limited to the removal of an existing failed 24” culvert and the in-kind replacement of a new 24” culvert. The culvert conveys water beneath Pine Creek Road from an irrigation ditch that receives water from Mill creek. The culvert will extend across the existing Pine Creek Road right-of-way to allow CDFW to access the culvert inlet/outlet for maintenance. Work will be within the existing roadway and shoulder of the road. Material removed during excavation of the existing culvert will be asphalt and old pipe which will be disposed of off-site. The new culvert will be covered with concrete slurry and new asphalt. The equipment that will be used includes a backhoe, dump truck, pick-up truck and hand tools.
