Document Description
Mike Schmidt is proposing to construct a Class II Aggregate Base Type D standard road connection within the California Department of Transportation’s (Caltrans) right-of-way along State Route 36 in Tehama County at post mile 36.8. The new road connection would provide access to the individual’s property. As part of the proposed improvements, a new culvert that is approximately 25 feet long and 18 inches in diameter with flared end sections on both ends would be installed to convey roadside runoff under the new road connection. Other improvements include the installation of a mailbox. Caltrans will issue an encroachment permit (0220-NRS-0449) to authorize improvements proposed within the right-of-way.
