Natural Resources staff will kill the invasive Carpobrotus edulis with herbicide in Torrey Pines State Natural Reserve Extension. It will be hand pulled in areas close to native vegetation. Field work will not take place in coastal sage scrub during gnatcatcher breeding season. A cultural monitor may be required for ground disturbance associated with weed removal.
