- Caltrans is proposing a pavement maintenance project In Mono County. A hot mix asphalt (HMA) overlay will be applied 0.10 ft. thick from edge of pavement (EP) to EP, rom PM 53.0 to PM 53.7 southbound, paving limit will be the existing edge of travelway (ETW). Some areas of distressed pavement will require dig-outs up to 4” deep. Dig-out areas will be cold-planed and replaced with new HMA. On the northbound side from PM 54.89 to PM 54.95, the existing edge of the shoulder will be dug out and the hinge point of the roadway will be reestablished.

- After a review of the project and location it has been determined that no known environmental resources will be impacted by this project. All work will occur within Caltrans operational right-of-way within the existing travel way and disturbed shoulder with no new construction. Traffic will not be re-routed during construction.
