Addendum to Alpine County Wildfire Risk Mitigation Plan Final IS/MND

This document is an Addendum to the Initial Study/Mitigated Negative Declaration approved in February 2021 by the Alpine County Board of Supervisors (IS/MND) for the Diamond Valley 1, Diamond Valley 2, Manzanita 2, Markleevillage projects approved in February 2021 (herein referred to as the “Approved Projects”). This Addendum serves as the environmental review for a proposed modification to four project boundaries in the IS/MND. This Addendum has been prepared pursuant to the provisions of the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA), Public Resources Code Sections 21000 et. seq. and the State CEQA Guidelines. This Addendum documents that none of the conditions described in CEQA Section 21166 or CEQA Guidelines Sections 15162 or 15164 calling for preparation of a subsequent or supplemental EIR have occurred. Pursuant to the provisions of CEQA and the State CEQA Guidelines, Alpine County is the lead agency charged with the responsibility of deciding whether or not to approve the proposed action. This Addendum analyzes the proposed minor changes to the Approved Project.
