Alpine County (County) proposes implementation of the Wildfire Risk Mitigation Plan (WRMP). The purpose of the project is to enable the County to implement activities that address the risk of wildfire and that can reduce wildfires that could impact communities. The project includes implementation of wildfire fuel management activities in locations across Alpine County and identifies specific vegetation management activities that would occur in Markleevillage, Manzanita, and Bear Valley.
