Document Description
Caltrans is proposing a pavement project that will include a 0.33’ depth cold in-place recycle (CIR) of the existing asphalt section, followed by a 0.25’ depth Hot Mix Asphalt (HMA) overlay. In addition, mill and fill (M&F) about 0.4' depth would be the strategy to fix areas with pavement bleeding. The M&F, CIR and HMA overlay will be performed on both the existing travel ways and shoulders. The completed paved shoulder will be backed with 3’ wide shoulder backing.
