Document Description
The California Department of Fish and Wildlife has executed Lake and Streambed Alteration Agreement number EPIMS-SBR-13491-R6, pursuant to Section 1602 of the Fish and Game Code to Eric Bolin, Calnev Pipe Line, LLC. The project is limited to minor excavations to perform an inspection of the buried 8-inch pipeline within the wash. Once excavated, the pipe coating will be removed and the pipe will be inspected. If repairs are necessary, a sleeve or a pipe wrap will be installed as needed. The pipe coating will be replaced, and the excavation area will be backfilled. The minor excavations (potholing and trenching) will occur in soils previously
disturbed during the initial pipeline installation activities. The workspace will be approximately 50 feet by 50 feet, centered on the excavation point and staging area (approximately 100 feet long by 15 feet wide) will be adjacent to the excavation area (30 feet long, 8 feet wide, 7 feet deep). The total area of disturbance (including the excavation areas, soil stockpile, and staging areas) is approximately 0.09 acre. Once the project is complete, the excavation pit
will be backfilled with native soil.
